I recently signed up for a Trout Unlimited membership. It was free (since I am a girl and a first-time member) so I really didn't think much about it.
Last night I casually mentioned it to The Sportsman and he stopped mid-beer-drink with googly eyes and said that was worth bothering him at work for and why didn't I text the great news? Wow, I wasn't expecting that reaction but apparently my new membership comes with some pretty neat stuff.
Like a magazine subscription and local chapter membership. Cool.
Pretty sure the magazine will be read by more then just me. And I might just have to check out what being a local member all entails. It wouldn't be such a bad thing to get more involved in conserving the streams and waterways we so often frequent.
