This past weekend we packed up and headed to NE Pennsylvania for a little family adventure. This has been the third year we took a late winter trip into the Pocono Mountains. Each year we have gotten to explore a little more of the area and have made some neat family memories with The Sportsman's family in the process.
This year we stayed at Great Wolf Lodge. It is a pretty neat place, especially if your a kid or just a kid at heart. I neglected to take pictures of the lodge or the water-park since I was too busy having fun running after Sportsman-in-Training. His favorite part of the trip was pizza and painting a ceramic robot in case you were wondering.
We spent Saturday afternoon exploring a portion of the Delaware Water Gap. Which was my favorite part of the trip. There are waterfalls everywhere in this part of the state which just makes me want to go back for more. I LOVE waterfalls in case you didn't know.
Here is a few pictures of our mini hike. Which just so happened to land on a part of the Appalachian Trail (Summer Bucket List check one!).
